FAQ

For motor carriers, no — but most shippers and freight brokers require it on the certificate of insurance. $100K is the most common contractual minimum.

Standard exclusions: live animals, tobacco, alcohol, electronics, hazardous materials, and cargo over the per-load limit. Specialty endorsements may be available for some of these classes depending on the carrier.

Driven by your radius of operation, commodities hauled, fleet size, and loss history. Reefer and high-value commodities carry higher rates.
